Brian D. Krecklo

Much of Krecklo's success can be attributed to the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that Brian D. Krecklo, as President and founder, brings to the firm. His extensive experience crosses multiple markets. It is through his vision, keen sense of the marketplace, dedicated perseverance and lead-by-example modeling that Krecklo International has carved out a recognized niche in the search and selection of quality leadership teams for the firm's international client base.

Active in providing executive search and human resource consultancy services at a senior and middle management level since 1975, Brian has served a great number of clients, many on a multiple repeat basis, in many industries on an international basis. Brian has extensive experience in handling searches, often involving complex criteria, for senior management postings with specialization in information systems and information technology. They include positions such as Chief Information Officer; Vice-President, IT; Director, IT; Manager, MIS; and Director, Applications Development.

For more than 30 years, Brian established a sound reputation for fulfilling assignments in a time-sensitive manner. The effective delivery of outstanding candidates in the information systems and technology sectors, at the middle and senior management levels, allowed his professional practice to grow and to become recognized as the premier retained executive search firm to specialize in these disciplines, in Canada.

Since 2005, through a consulting association with Gazda Houlne & Associates Inc. – Management Consultants to the Municipal Sector; Brian has gained extensive industry knowledge and experience, working with municipalities of varying size to meet their organization needs in the areas of compensation surveys and reviews, and performance management.   Through this current work with the compensation survey, he is well versed on remuneration trends/developments in the municipal sector.

Brian was educated in Commerce and in Computer Science at Concordia University, Montreal. Additionally, he has attended several relevant high-level professional seminars in the United States. He is active in a number of organizations, including as a "Certified Human Resources Professional" with l'Ordre des CRHA du Québec, and with the HRPA in Ontario. As an active member, he has also participated in many programs at the Global Association of Executive Search Consultants, Inc. ("AESC"), based in New York and Brussels, Belgium.
